“Elinor has been a huge help to me in learning how to navigate being neurodivergent. Due to her wide-ranging knowledge of ND I have been able to support and advocate for my ND family. We have a greater understanding of ourselves since working with Elinor and I highly recommend her for therapy and/or mentoring..”

“I just wanted to write to you to say thank you for your help and support. The things we worked on have massively improved my life! I started a new job, the people are great and I feel supported. I talked to my family and it went alright. I’m on a waiting list for an ADHD assessment. I have applied to Access to Work and I’m not afraid anymore to say when something is not good for me or if I need an adjustment. It feels good. I’ve also begun painting with [my child], we get along much better and we spend more time together as my new job is closer to their school. We do more things together and I’m there for [my partner], more emotionally. We are very happy together and we work as a team very well.”

“I was struggling with my first funding application and arranged for access support with Elinor. She was instantly able to understand which areas of the application I needed help with. Elinor was able to break down the steps I needed to take into bite-sized chunks; this helped me immensely as I was struggling with overwhelm and had been about to give up.
Elinor’s experience and knowledge of funding applications means that she was able to show me which areas of the application were the most important, so that I could focus my attention there. She was able to provide the scaffolding I needed in order to not only complete my funding application, but to edit and to refine it until I was satisfied. This massively boosted my confidence; I went from struggling to find anything to say about myself as an artist, to maxing out the word count for this section.
Elinor also really helped me to understand the financial aspects of funding on a deeper level, which allowed me to strengthen my application. This knowledge also gave me the courage to apply for the full amount as it became clear that it was reasonable to do so.
I was successful in my funding application and was awarded the full grant. But even if I had not been successful, being able to complete the application was a massive boost for me - increasing my confidence not only in the sustainability of my artist practice but also in my ability to navigate one more aspect of the world as a neurodivergent woman.”

We were first seeing her for strategies to support us with our children, and to be able to better understand their needs, and now we continue to see Elinor because we have realised that we also have our own needs. “Ms Elinor Rowlands has been exceptional. An amazingly patient, sincere and honest person, she offers something I have only seen in a very rare few. Elinor is an understanding, self -esteem booster and essentially a tutor who helps you assemble the learning blocks to achieve to your potential. It has been challenging at times, Elinor has done nothing but empathise and actively help me. Truly a remarkable tutor. I can not wait to continue 'trial and errors' and eventually acquire the tools to succeed in HE.”

“The new system is very interesting, getting used to it but it makes sense. It's been helpful in seeing this method and applying it to my essay writing. Seeing my marks get higher and higher shows me that when study skills are taught properly and applied properly that it works. Elinor’s systems do work!”

“Talking with Elinor whilst I was a student was so thought provoking. She really helped me succeed in my studies. Now I’m fully employed and I continue to see Elinor, every other week for a mixture of therapy and mentoring. I just feel she’s so powerfully brilliant at helping me engage with new ideas, she’s definitely the reason why each year in my life since I began to see her has gone from strength to strength.”
